THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY WRIT PETITION No.30672 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner challenging the inaction of respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in not disposing of the application filed by him in Form No.VI-A for mutation of the name of the petitioner, deleting the name of respondent No.4, from the Records of Right by following necessary procedure as the petitioner became owner of the subject property inpursuance of the Gift Settlement Deed dt. 02.12.2009 executed by her father. Thereafter, she made an application under Section 4 read with Rule 18 of the Andhra Pradesh Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 in Form No.VI-A of the proforma fixed under the Rules for mutation of her name for the land referred above, but so far no action has been taken by respondent No.3.

Hence, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition. The learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the State of Telangana requested this Court to issue necessary direction to respondent No.3 to dispose of the application in Form No.VI-A submitted by the petitioner under Section 4 read with Rule 18 of the Rules framed under the Act in view of the facts and circumstances of the case. Acceding to the request of the learned Government Pleader, respondent No.3 is directed to pass reasoned order on the application filed by the petitioner in Form No.VI-A under Section 4 read with Rule 18 of Andhra Pradesh Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act 1971, within two months from the date of rec eipt of a copy of this Order. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
