WRIT PETITION No.31105 of 2018 ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner was placed under suspension by order dated Nil-April, 2011 as a response to registration of Crime No. 41 of 2011 against the petitioner under Sections 406, 417, 420 and 468 of IPC. Petitioner is continuing under suspension for the last 7 years. Charge sheet is filed by the police; the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nagarkurnool, took cognizance of the offence and CC No. 313 of 2017 is pending on the file of the said Court.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and with their consent the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

Though on serious allegations criminal case is pending and charge sheet is filed, having regard to the fact that petitioner is under suspension for more than 7 years, first respondent is directed to review further continuation of suspension of petitioner and possibility of accommodating the petitioner in non-focal post at far off place. A decision shall be taken and appropriate orders are to be passed in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
