THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.79 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Section Cr.P.C.

to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.412 of 2011 on the file of the V Additional Munsif Magistrate, Guntur, wherein cognizance was taken for the offence punishable under Section 138 r/w 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Petition and to that effect, he submitted a letter, dated 21.02.2018, before the Registry.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this petition shall stand closed.
