This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, by the petitioner/ Accused No.1 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.313 of 2012 on the file of Uppal PS, Cyberabad, registered for the offences under Sections 420, 494, 506 r/ w 34 IPC.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent No.1/ State, learned counsel for the respondent No.2/ de facto complainant and perused the record. 3.

In the course of submissions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor brought to the notice of this Court that investigation in the matter is completed and charge sheet is filed before the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar on 22.12.2014 and C.C.No.186/ 2015 was assigned. 4.

Even after lapse of more than four(4) years from the date of filing of the charge sheet, the petitioner did not take any consequential measures. In the given circumstances, the petitioner is granted liberty to assail the filing of the charge sheet in accordance with the procedure established under law.

With the above observation, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
