HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.27272 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in withholding the payment for the bills submitted by the petitioner firm for a sum of Rs.13,78,024/- and in not issuing work completion certificate to the petitioner firm, insptie of the petitioner complying the directions of the respondent, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner who submits that the bills submitted by the petitioner for an amount of Rs.13,78,024/- were withheld by the 1st respondent on the ground that the petitioner has not cleared the EPF dues; and that now the said dues were cleared, as such, there is no impediment to the 1st respondent for payment of the bills submitted by the petitioner.

Heard Smt.C.Vani, learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent.

Since it is stated that the petitioner has cleared the dues pertaining to EPF, if that is so, the 1st respondent shall consider the said aspect and release the bills submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with the Rules, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _______________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 02.08.2018 t k.
