THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.9776 OF 2016 O R D E R :

It is the admitted case of the petitioner that the subject land was gifted by his father to the State of Andhra Pradesh for the purpose of constructing quarters to the staff of Nagarjunasagar Right Canal.

2. Petitioner contends that the 8th respondent has encroached the said land.

3. Once the land is gifted by the petitioner's father to the State of A n d h r a Pradesh for constructing quarters to the staff of Nagarjunasagar Right Canal, petitioner has no locus to file the present writ petition. If the 8th respondent is not in authorized occupation of the subject premises, it is open to the officials of the Nagarjunasagar Right Canal Project to take appropriate action for his eviction, in accordance with law.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
