ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner/A-1 under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking to grant bail in Crime No.235 of 2015 of S.Kota Police Station, Vizianagaram, registered for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Heard and perused the material available on record. Case of the prosecution is that on 12.11.2015, the petitioner/A-1 was found transporting 26 kgs. of ganja illegally. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent of the offences alleged against him and he has been falsely implicated in the present case.

The petitioner is found in possession of 26 kgs. of ganja. Since the ganja found is more than the commercial quantity and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
