HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 21954 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in deleting the name of the petitioner in respect of H.No.14-529/1 situated at Santhinagar, Miryalaguda in their records without issuing any notice to the petitioner vide impugned proceedings dated 02.01.2014 as illegal, arbitrary and against the provisions of the Alteration of Ownership of Property in Assessment Books Rules, 1966; and consequently direct the second respondent to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner on 18.03.2014.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the revision/appeal dated 18.03.2014 at the earliest. The same is not objected to by the Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to dispose of the revision/appeal dated 18.03.2014, if any, filed against the order dated 02.01.2014, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 02.06.2016 gkv
