Heard Sri P.Ramakrishna Reddy, learned counsel for the appellants/ petitioners in both these appeals, Sri V.Sambasiva Rao, learned standing counsel for Respondent No.4/ United India Insurance Company in both the appeals, Sri Kota Subba Rao, learned standing counsel for Respondent No.2/ New India Assurance Company in M.A.C.M.A.No.992 of and perused the record.

The Awards, dated 27.12.2004, impugned in both these appeals are squarely covered by the common judgment, dated 19.12.2011, passed by the erstwhile High Court of Andhra Pradesh in M.A.C.M.A.Nos.2949 and 3641 of 2011, which were disposed of along with other connected appeals, absolving the liability of the Insurance Company(s), with an observation that the insurance company(s) is/ are entitled to withdraw the money deposited by them before the Tribunal, if not already withdrawn by the claimants, and in case the amount deposited by the Insurance Company(s) was withdrawn by the claimants, the insurance company(s) is/ are entitled to recover the same from the owner of the vehicle/ s. Under these circumstances, nothing survives for adjudication in these two Appeals.

Accordingly, both these Appeals are dismissed.

- 2 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in both these appeals, shall stand closed.
