THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9224 of 2015 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'the CrPC') by the Petitioner/A.4 to quash proceedings in Cr.No.204 of 2013 of Asifnagar Police Station, Hyderabad city, registered (initially under Section 174 of Cr.P.C.) for the offences under Sections 306,406 and 420 of I.P.C. on the report of the 2nd respondent-defacto complainant for the suicidal death of her husband with allegations of abatement by the petitioner/A.4 among 4 accused regarding misappropriation of cheque and cheating in relation to property.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The compromise petition vide Crl.P.M.P. No.9283 of 2015 is filed with a joint memo and an affidavit of the defacto-complainant stating that through elders and well wishers, the 2nd respondent-defacto complainant settled the claims with the petitioner/A.4 and other accused and the petitioner/A.4 paid Rs.3,00,000/- (Three lakhs rupees only) to her in full settlement to invest by her in the name of her children and thus sought permission may be granted to compound the offences.

3. Accordingly, permission is given to the parties to compound the offences in view of their compromise.

4. Having regard to the above, the Criminal Petition is allowed by quashing the proceedings in Cr.No.204 of 2013 of Asif Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad city.
