HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 12377 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in CC No. 518 of 2012 on the file of VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Section 420 IPC (Crime No. 80 of 2011 of Asifnagar Police Station).

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 04.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Asifnagar Police Station, Hyderabad City, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 28.2.2016 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 518 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
