THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2060 OF 2018 ORDER:

By order dated 22.09.2017, W.P.No.32684 of 2017 was disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make an application in Form VI-A through online web portal seeking mutation of her name in the revenue records and also for issuance of pattadar passbook and title deeds and the Tahsildar was directed to consider such application and appropriate decision be taken in accordance with law.

On 02.01.2018, the Tahsildar considered the application made by the petitioner duly taking note of the directions issued by this Court and communicated the said decision to the petitioner. This Contempt Case is filed after the decision was communicated alleging that the said communication would amount to violation of the directions issued by this Court.

A perusal of the order dated 22.09.2017 would show that the Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits nor gave a direction to consider the application in a particular form or manner. Therefore rejection of the application cannot amount to violation of the directions issued by this Court. Hence, no case is made out for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondent.

The Contempt Case is closed. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
