The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner-convict seeking a direction to the respondents to grant extension of parole.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has already surrendered before the concerned jail authority after expiry of parole. Hence no orders are necessary to be passed in this writ petition which is accordingly dismissed along with miscellaneous applications, if any. No order as to costs. _________________________
