In this Writ Petition, petitioner has challenged fixation of property tax in respect of his property. Since the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy under Section 282 of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 before the Chief Judge, City Small Causes Courts, Hyderabad, I am not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedy of appeal under Section 282 of the said Act. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
