ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dt.6.1.2012, in W.P. No.426 of 2012, whereby this Court has directed that status quo with regard to possession shall be maintained in respect of the subject land.

Respondent No.3 has filed a counter affidavit wherein it is inter alia averred as under:

"I respectfully submit that, the allegation of the petitioners that attempts are being made by the subordinates of this respondents on 10-2-2015 to dispossess the petitioners from the land by threatening or otherwise is not true and correct. The allegations raised by the petitioners are imaginary and without record or any basis. I further submit that nobody was deputed by this respondent to dispossess the petitioners from the land as alleged. I respectfully submit that the allegation of the petitioners that the respondents have disobeyed the orders of this Hon'ble Court are not true and without any basis or record. The other allegations raised by the petitioners are denied. I respectfully submit, that being a public servant, I have got highest regard and respect towards the judiciary and the judicial pronouncements. I had never come across to the adverse notice of this Hon'ble Court for violation of its orders."

In view of the categorical assertion of respondent No.3 that neither he nor his subordinates have been trying to interfere with the petitioners' possession of the property, the contempt case is closed by recording the said statement.
