THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.2138 of 2018 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the order dt.02.04.2018 passed in IA.No.1 of 2018 in WP.No.8835 of 2018, wherein this Court passed the following order;

"There shall be interim direction to the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner as District Tribal Development Officer (Erstwhile DTWO) on par with his juniors pursuant to Final Integrated Seniority List dated 02.05.2017 by taking into consideration of G.O.Rt.No.435, dated 02.08.2016, within a period of four weeks from today."

Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that though this Court directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner on par with his juniors, the respondents have granted only notional promotion to the petitioner by issuing proceedings dt.17.09.2018; and that the Contempt Case can be closed with liberty to challenge the said proceedings. In view of the aforesaid submission of learned counsel, recording the same, the Contempt Case is closed granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings dt.17.09.2018 to the extent petitioner is aggrieved. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
