THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.3733 of 2013 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the third respondent in including the petitioner as accused in crime No.133 of 2012 of Akividu Police Station, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself. Though various grounds are raised in the Writ Petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer, seeking a direction to the respondents-Police to complete investigation in crime No.133 of 2012 and file a final report, at the earliest. Having regard to the facts in issue and since the crime was registered in the year 2012, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents-Police to complete investigation and file a final report in crime No.133 of 2012, if not already filed, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
