HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 2970 of 2016 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Revenue, Sri V.Narasimha Goud, learned Standing Counsel for H.M.D.A. With the consent of all the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.5 in not taking steps for correction of the location of survey numbers in the map released by the HMDA with regard to Shamshiguda Village, basing on the location of the survey numbers in the village map released by respondent No.3, as illegal, arbitrary; and consequently direct respondent No.5 to carry out the correction of the location of survey numbers in the map released by the HMDA with regard to Shamshiguda village basing on the location of the survey numbers in the village map released by respondent No.3. 3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent No.5 to consider his representation dated 11.05.2015.

4) Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.5 submits that if the said representation is still pending consideration the same will be dealt with in accordance with law.

5) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submission made, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.5 to consider the representation dated 11.05.2015, if he is competent to do so, and pass orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs. 6) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
