O R D E R

Though in this writ petition, petitioner made various allegations of improper investigation by 5th and 6th respondents, who are police officials, in Crime No.226 of 2016 dated 12.12.2016, filed by her against the unofficial respondents for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, restricted her prayer to direct the said official respondents, to file final report within certain time limit. The learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that investigation is in progress and final report will be filed in due course. Recording the above submission of the learned Government Pleader for Home, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, directing the respondent Nos.5 and 6 to complete the investigation in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and file final report preferably within a period of four to six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
