HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.4775 of 2017 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner by threatening to arrest the petitioner in connection with Cr.No.85 of 2017.

2. Learned Government Pleader for Home (TS) on the basis of the instructions submits that in view of the registration of the crime, the police are investigating the case in accordance with law only.

3. In view of the statement made by the learned Government Pleader, it is needless to observe that the police can go ahead with the investigation, but investigation shall be conducted only in accordance with law.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
