THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.41799 OF 2015 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in withholding the difference of the increments amount while disposing retirement benefits on 31.07.2013 of the petitioner even after making representation, dated 12.11.2015 and releasing the said benefits to other employees, as arbitrary and illegal.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his claim seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation, dated 12.11.2015, made by the petitioner, at the earliest.

4. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 did not dispute the same.

5. Having regard to the circumstances stated above, without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to dispose of the representation, dated 12.11.2015, made by the petitioner, if the same is still pending consideration, in accordance with law, at the earliest. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
