THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 16919 of 2016 ORDER :
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the State of Telangana appearing for respondents 1 to 3. At their request, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.
2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction of respondent No.3 in investigating into crime No.208 of 2015 of Nalgonda II Town police station registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 3 (1) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, as illegal and arbitrary.
3. Though various grounds are urged in the Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks direction to respondent No.3 to complete investigation into the aforesaid crime and file final report as early as possible. The learned Assistant Government Pleader reports no objection for the same. Therefore, without going into the merits, and having regard to the facts and circumstances, of the case, respondents 2 and 3 are directed to complete investigation in crime No.208 of 2015 of Nalgonda II Town police station and file final report, in accordance with law, as early as possible.
4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
