ORDER:
The petitioner, who raised unauthorized construction, has applied to respondent No.2 for regularization of such construction in accordance with the Building Penalization Scheme, 2008. As the said application was not disposed of, the petitioner has made representations on 20.12.2013 and also on 30.09.2015. As respondent Nos.2 and 3 had not taken any decision on the petitioner's application for regularization, despite the aforesaid representations, he has filed the present writ petition.
Mr.P.Kesava Rao, learned standing counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3, on instructions, submitted that the Corporation will consider the aforesaid application/representations of the petitioner, take a decision thereon, in accordance with law, and communicate the same to the petitioner.
In the light of the above submissions of the learned standing counsel for GHMC appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3, which are placed on record, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent Nos.2 and to consider the aforesaid application/representations of the petitioner, take an appropriate decision thereon, in accordance with law, and communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.49781 of 2015 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
