THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.8174 of 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C'), is filed questioning inaction of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar, in deciding C.C.No.164 of 2011 pending on its file.

2.

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the C.C is of the year 2011 and the petitioner is made to roam around the Court on account of the pendency of the said case for the last 7 years and, therefore, requested to issue a direction to the Magistrate to dispose of the said case as expeditiously as possible to avoid further inconvenience to the petitioner.

3.

In view of the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the age of the C.C pending before the Court below, I deem it appropriate to direct the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District, to dispose of C.C.No.164 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than four months from today.

4.

In the result, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with the above direction.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
