HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 14644 OF 2005 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner and the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and the petitioner is challenging the promotion orders issued in favour of the unofficial respondent. Since the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation, this Hon'ble Court is of the considered view that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive and the petitioner is not claiming any promotion to be granted in his favour. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
