THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.3438 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Telangana) appearing for the respondents.

2. Petitioner seeks duplicate pattadar passbook and title deed in respect of lands held by him under patta No.222 situated at Narsimlapalli Village, Gangadhara Revenue Mandal, Karimnagar District on the ground that he lost his original pattadar passbook and title deed. He made an application to respondent No.4 on 15.6.2015 through Mee Seva and paid the requisite fee by way of challan. Alleging inaction on the part of respondent No.4, the present writ petition is filed.

3. It is evident from the above that the writ petitioner has not made an application in the requisite proforma in accordance with the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Consequently, the representation of the petitioner dated 15.6.2015 cannot be taken into consideration for grant of any relief to him. Hence, the petitioner is granted liberty to make an appropriate application in accordance with the aforesaid Act and if such an application is made, respondent No.4 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within forty five (45) days from the date of receipt of such application.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
