Heard Sri P. Shashi Kiran, for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader (Revenue) for respondents.

2. The petitioner complains that the representation dated 23.09.2016 filed by the petitioner under the A.P. Land in Rights and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act'), is not considered taking note of acquisition of property through the sale deed dated 15.07.2014 and incorporating the changes in 1-B register, as illegal, arbitrary and amounts to refusing to exercise the jurisdiction conferred on the 3rd respondent.

The Assistant Government Pleader submits that the acknowledgment on which the petitioner is relying upon contains correction of date and therefore on such unattested correction, if inaction is presumed and direction issued, the respondents may not be in a position to retrieve the applications and pass orders. He alternatively submits that the petitioner claims to have acquired right and title to the property covered by the registered sale deed dated 15.07.2014. The petitioner if makes application under the Act, the 3rd respondent will consider and dispose of the same expeditiously. The statement is placed on record.

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by this order. The petitioner is given liberty to apply for mutation in accordance with provisions of the Act by enclosing copy of this order within four weeks from today. The 3rd respondent, on receipt of such request, takes

decision expeditiously. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions if any in this writ petition shall stand dismissed in consequence.
