THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO W.P.NOS.12734 AND 27286 OF 2018 COMMON ORDER Petitioners are challenging the initiation of disciplinary proceedings vide charge memos dated 05.01.2017, continuation of the said proceedings and in not considering them for promotion to the higher post, as the case may be.
When the matter is taken up, this court is informed that on 24.04.2018, the conduct of disciplinary proceedings, were entrusted to Transport Commissioner and the matters are pending before him. Learned counsel agreed for disposal of the writ petitions by fixing a time frame for completing the disciplinary proceedings. In view of the above submission, without entering into the merits of the respective contentions, leaving it open to raise the said contentions before the disciplinary authority, writ petitions are disposed of directing the 2nd respondent - Transport Commissioner, to conclude the disciplinary proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
