HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 19237 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri P.Keshava Rao, learned Standing Counsel for G.H.M.C. With the consent of both the parties, the present writ petition is taken up for disposal.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer.

"Issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in insisting the petitioners to obtain No Objection Certificate from Tahsildar as a pre-condition for considering the petitioners' application for regularization of layout/plot in respect of H.No.8-1-284/A/89 to 91 (old), Plot No.60 (New) of Prosper Valley, O.U.Colony, in Sy.Nos.322 and 323 situated at Shaikpet Village, Hyderabad, as illegal, arbitrary, without any authority; and consequently direct the respondent to consider the application of the petitioners."

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.Keshava Rao, learned Standing Counsel for G.H.M.C., submits that the authorities are not insisting the petitioners to obtain No Objection Certificate from the Tahsildar as pre-condition of regularization.

Recording the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel for G.H.M.C., the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents not to insist the petitioners to obtain No

Objection Certificate from the Tahsildar for regularization of the layout in respect of the property which is subject matter in this writ petition. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
