HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 22098 of 2011 ORDER:

With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners hold various extents of land in Ananthasagaram Village, Pullampeta Mandal, Kadapa District. The said lands are the ancestral property of their family. The revenue authorities issued pattadar pass books in respect of lands owned by the family, but some of the survey numbers were not entered in the pattadar pass books. Hence, the petitioners made a representation before the fourth respondent to enter other survey numbers in pattadar pass books.

Since the fourth respondent did not take any action, the petitioners approached the second respondent and made a representation on 14.03.2011. The grievance cell of the District Collector directed the Tahsildar, Pullampet to settle the issue by 30.03.2011. As no action was taken, the present writ petition came to be filed. A perusal of the material on record would show that the representation dated 14.03.2011 which was submitted in the office of District Collector was forwarded to the office of Tahsildar, Pullampet and the same was received on 02.06.2011. It is stated that though the office of Tahsildar, Pullampet received the representation on 02.06.2011 till date no orders are passed.

Having regard to the circumstances stated above, if the representation, dated 14.03.2011 is still pending consideration, the Tahsildar, Pullampet, who is the fourth respondent herein, is directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
