This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioner-accused in C.C. No.55 of 2017 on the file of the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Sathyavedu, Chittoor District.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to permit the petitioner to withdraw the criminal petition with liberty to file a petition under Section 205 of Cr.P.C., before the trial court.
