When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the writ petition against the 3rd respondent was dismissed for default by this Court vide order dated 23.6.2011. The petitioner challenged the orders passed by the authority under Shops and Establishments Act in favour of the 3rd respondent. No steps have been taken by the petitioner to get the writ petition restored against the 3rd respondent. In the absence of respondent No.3, this writ petition cannot be adjudicated on merits.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, pending, if any, shall stand closed.
