This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.120 of 2016 pending on the file of Chillkallu Police Station, Krishna District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of IPC and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. During hearing Sri K. Ananda Rao, learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh, submitted that the proceedings in Cr.No.120 of 2016 against the petitioners are dropped as the Police after due investigation filed Final Report deleting the names of the petitioners and addressed a Letter to the Sub Divisional Police Officer, Nandigama.

In view of the deleting of the names of the petitioners/A.4 and A.5 in the Final Report, no further Orders need be passed in the instant Petition.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
