THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.2712 OF 2010 ORDER:

This petition is filed for a writ of Certiorari calling for records in OP.No.37 of 2006 which was filed by the petitioner under Section 19(3) of A.P.Grampanchayath Act, 1994 to declare the election of 1st respondent, dated 28.06.2006 for the post of Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency of Thurkala Khanapur Village of Hathnoora Mandal, as void and to set aside the same and also declare the petitioner as duly elected candidate to the above said post. Heard both sides.

In the instant case, admittedly, the term of the 1st respondent is already over long back and now the petitioner cannot be declared as elected candidate. As such, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
