THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.28145 OF 2011

O R D E R

This writ petition was filed assailing the inaction of the Station House Officer, Achampet police station, Mahaboobnagar District, upon the petitioner's application dated 27.09.2011, whereby he sought protection. Perusal of the said representation reflects that the petitioner alleged that the vendor of the land in question was causing some obstruction along with his family members and therefore, he wanted the police to interfere in the matter. Learned counsel for the petitioner is however unable to establish the legal right of the petitioner, whereby the police could interfere upon his mere request and furnish him police protection. In the absence of such a duty being cast upon the police authorities, the petitioner can have no redressable grievance as to the alleged inaction on their part upon his application dated 27.09.2011. The writ petition is therefore bereft of merit and is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs. ______________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J 08th JUNE, 2015 Svv
