THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.12015 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner states that he had filed an appeal being Inam Appeal No.2717 of 2016 before the 3rd respondent under Section 7 (2) of the Andhra Pradesh Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1956 challenging the proceedings issued by the 4th respondent on 04.03.2016 in respect of the subject land. The petitioner had also filed an application for stay along with the said appeal. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent has not passed any orders either in the appeal or in the stay application till date.

3. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that the 3rd respondent will pass orders in the appeal filed by the petitioner within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing the contentions of the petitioner, in accordance with law.

4. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders in Inam Appeal No.2717 of 2016 filed by the petitioner within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to the petitioner, in accordance with law. Pending disposal of the said appeal by the 3rd respondent, all further proceedings including dispossession of the petitioner pursuant to proceedings in L.Dis.No.160/2016/A, dated 04.03.2016 issued by the

4th respondent, shall stand stayed. There shall be no order as to costs.
