HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No. 2691 OF 2003 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly states that the petitioners filed the instant writ petition under the impression that 2% interest, as contemplated by Section 91 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 (for short, 'the Act') is liable to be paid for a year and not for a month. Section 91 of the Act provides a simple interest at the rate of 2% per mensum in case of failure to pay property tax. In the circumstances, nothing further survives in the writ petition. Writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
