HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U. DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8754 of 2013 ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by petitioners/A1 & A2, seeking quashment of proceedings in Crime No.221 of 2013 of Godavarikhani I-Town Police Station, in which, they are charged for the offences under Sections 447 & 506 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 17.05.2016, addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Godavarikhani I-Town P.S. to the Public Prosecutor and submitted that in this matter, Police, after investigation, referred the case as false and submitted final report on 28.08.2013 before the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Godavarikhani, and in view of the same, the present petition, which is filed for quashing the F.I.R. in Crime No.221 of 2013, may be dismissed as infructuous.

3. Learned counsel for petitioners/A1 and A2 is present and reported no objection.

In the light of above submission by the learned Public Prosecutor, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
