ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief - "....to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents No.3 in detaining the petitioner from appearing the 1st year M.Sc Pharmacology course examination for the subject of Anatomy scheduled on 22-072008 is illegal, arbitrary, violation of the regulations and violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India consequently

direct the authorities to re-conduct the examination for the subject of Anatomy 1st year of MSC, Pharmacology and pass..."

Learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A. Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent submit that pursuant to the interim direction granted by this court on 14.08.2008 the petitioner was permitted to attend the examinations, and hence cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the same has become infructuous.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
