O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner society was that the police authorities did not take any action on its complaint dated 15.04.2011.

The Inspector of Police, IV Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam, filed a counter-affidavit stating that upon the complaint dated 15.04.2011 submitted by the petitioner society, an enquiry was initiated but it was found that no cognizable offence was made out for initiating criminal action. An endorsement was accordingly made in the General Diary. The complaint dated 15.04.2011 was stated to manifest a purely civil dispute.

In the light of the aforestated counter, it is for the petitioner society to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law in the event it wishes to proceed further in the matter.

Reserving liberty to the petitioner society to do so, the writ petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
