HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.37119 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the 3rd respondent not to interfere with the personal liberty of the petitioner, without following due process of law.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent, who is no way concerned with his land, is trying to interfere with his land without any basis and hence, the petitioner gave a complaint to the 3rd respondent to take legal action. But no action was taken. At the instance of the 4th respondent, the 3rd respondent is calling the petitioner to the police station and threatening him to settle the issue with the 4th respondent.

Considering facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"Respondent Nos.1 to 3 are directed not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioner more particularly, in any of the civil disputes in respect of the subject property. At the same time, this order will not stand in the way of the above respondents to proceed with the investigation, if any case is registered against the petitioner for cognizable offence."

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
