Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. The petitioner is a Field Assistant and he was kept under suspension by the impugned proceedings leveling certain charges. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that before passing the impugned order no show cause notice has been issued to him and that order of suspension was passed without any notice to him.

On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the impugned order suspending the petitioner pending enquiry needs no interference by this Court. On consideration of submissions made by both the parties, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of eight weeks by passing appropriate orders, failing which the order of suspension stands revoked.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. No order as to costs. The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO Date:3.9.2015 kk
