HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39078 of 2016 ORDER:

1.

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the official respondents not to call him to the police station and not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioner and with any civil disputes.

2.

Heard and perused the material available on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that there are civil disputes between the 6th respondent and the accused in Crime No.64 of 2016 and the petitioner has nothing to do with the said transaction. On the allegation that the money paid by the 6th respondent to the accused in the above crime was given to the petitioner under an agreement of sale, the official respondents are calling the petitioner to the police station and interfering with the affairs of the petitioner and the civil disputes. 4.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that the official respondents are not interfering with any civil disputes. 5.

Considering facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

The official respondents are directed not to call the petitioner in connection with any civil disputes. At the same time, this order will not stand in the way of the official respondents to proceed with the investigation, if any case is registered against the petitioner for cognizable offence.

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
