Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Women Development appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not transferring the petitioner from Perayyagaripalle, Gadikota, Veeraballi Mandal, Kadapa District to Veeraballi-I, Kadapa District.

The petitioner is an Anganwadi Worker of Perayyagaripalle, Gandikota, Veeraballi Mandal, Kadapa District and has been working in the said post for the last 30 years without complaint from any corner. It is stated that one Anganwadi Worker viz., Saraswathamma retired on 31.08.2015 due to which vacancy arose in Lakkireddy Project at Veeraballi-I.

The version of the petitioner is that the said post has not been notified and it is in the same District and Mandal, where she is presently working. She made a representation dated 7.9.2015 to the District Collector and also to the Project Director to consider her case for transfer to the existing vacancy at Veeraballi-I and the same is pending with the authorities concerned. Hence, the writ petition. Since the representation of the petitioner is pending, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent-Project Director to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
