HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD CRIMINAL PETITION No.6234 of 2011 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.475 of 2010 on the file of Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Vizianagaram. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that C.C.No.475 of 2010, which was renumbered as C.C.No.355 of 2011 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Special Mobile Court, Vizianagaram, has ended in acquittal of the petitioner/accused on 20.05.2012 and therefore, no orders are required in this petition. Learned Public Prosecutor stated no objection for closing the proceedings in this matter.

Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the respective parties, since C.C.No.475 of 2010, which was renumbered as C.C.No.355 of 2011 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Special Mobile Court, Vizianagaram, has ended in acquittal of the petitioner/accused on 20.05.2012, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
