There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the Station House Officer, Gachibowli to register a case basing on the complaint dt.16-10-2010 given by the petitioner from unlawful interference and encroachment of the peaceful possession and enjoyment of land owned by the petitioner in Sy.No.48 and 49 from Respondents No.4 to 19 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the complaint, dated 16.10.2010, lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.336 of 2010 was registered on the file of the Station House Officer, Raidurgam Police Station, Cyberabad. After investigation, final report was filed on 31.05.2011 referring the case as 'civil in nature'.

Since a final report is already filed, the course left open to the petitioner, if he is not satisfied and having any objections on the final report, is to file a protest application.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed, since the crime is already registered pursuant to the complaint submitted by the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
