ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following substantial relief: 'To issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, preferably one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in threatening to evict the petitioner and demolish the structures/houses raised by the petitioners in the plots under their occupation in Sy.No.147/1, Avilala Village, Lingeshwar Nagar, Sai Nagar Gram Panchayat, Tirupati, Chittoor District, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to evict the petitioners or to demolish the structures/houses raised by the petitioners over their respective sites, and pass such other or further orders as are necessary in the interest of justice".

During the course of hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the respondents that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in W.P.No.22248 of 2001, dated 11.07.2016.

Following the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
