Heard. With the consent of both the counsel the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the admission stage.

By notice dated 30.01.2015 petitioner was asked to pay property tax of Rs.3,05,632/-, Library Tax of Rs.24,458/-, and unauthorized constructions penalty of Rs.3,30,084/-. Petitioner claims to have submitted a representation on 15.03.2015 contending that the enhancement is excessive and it should be brought down. As such the enhancement can be 10 to 15% as was applicable for the year 2013-14.

Admittedly, petitioner has not paid the tax as demanded nor undisputed amount. It is not known why the respondentCorporation has not taken further action against the petitioner. 4.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances, the respondent-authorities are directed not to take any coercive action against the petitioner, subject to petitioner paying the amount for unauthorized construction penalty, 50% of the tax demanded, payment of similar amount to the subsequent year and payment of library tax, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, which shall be subject to result of the decision on his representation. Further the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 15.03.2015, within a period of two

weeks thereafter, if not already considered. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
