HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Aggrieved by the order of punishment of postponement of two annual grade increments without effect of future increments imposed by the Secretary, Telangana State Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, petitioner preferred appeal to the Principal Secretary, Department of Scheduled Caste Development, who is also Vice-Chairman of the Society on 24.05.2018. Alleging inaction on the said appeal, this writ petition is filed. 2.

According to learned counsel for petitioner, as appeal preferred by the petitioner is still pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, Writ Petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to consider the appeal on its merits and to pass appropriate orders as warranted by law. A decision shall be taken as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
