HON'BLE SMT.JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.8449 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent and with their consent, the Criminal Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. Respondents 2, 3 and 4 are the wife and children of the petitioner respectively. Maintenance granted in their favour is only Rs.3,000/-, Rs.2,000/- and Rs.2,000/- respectively. The petitioner is admitted to be a Government Teacher and, hence, in the light of the said fact, the amounts granted as maintenance to respondents 2 to 4 cannot be termed as exaggerated. Hence, there is absolutely no reason to grant any stay and to interfere with the order under challenge.

The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Court below to pass appropriate orders in the revision petition pending on its file within a period of two months from today.
